What We Do

Overview

Global Peace Network assists displaced and homeless children providing them with shelter, education, food aid, medical care, and mosquito nets. This initiative started in May of 2005 when Daniel Budgell, a student at Langara college was on an aid project in Tanzania. It was then that he realized the urgent need to provide street children with a safer and healthier environment where they can learn and grow. Daniel and Joseph initially sent 5 children to school. Today many more children are attending school and living healthier lives thanks to the generous donations we have received.

Our other more recent projects are geared toward sustainable community development and health care whereby GPN supports local initiatives by providing funding, guidance, and education.

Inspirational Words

"Let no one be discouraged by the belief that there is nothing one man or one woman can do against the enormous array of the world's ills - against misery and ignorance, injustice and violence. Few will have the greatness to bend history itself; but each of us can work to change a small portion of events, and in the total of all those acts will be written the history of this generation."
